Rubber lining forms a protective layer inside industrial equipment. Selecting the lining starts with the actual contact medium and service conditions, rather than a generic claim of acid resistance. Send your application details so that the material and project scope can be evaluated together.

Define the service conditions

Describe the medium and concentration range, normal and peak temperature, contact conditions and substrate. Include any abrasion, pressure or vacuum, cleaning cycle and equipment geometry that may affect the specification.

Confirm the complete lining system

Natural rubber, butyl, EPDM and other compounds are different material families. A material name alone does not confirm suitability. Ask for the exact compound, current technical information, compatible primer and adhesive, seam details and selected vulcanization method.

Choose a clear supply scope

You can request lining material, material with compatible bonding products, or a project including installation. Confirm who handles surface preparation, equipment access, inspection and handover documentation.

Share drawings, photos and quantities

Send dimensions or estimated lining area, the requested thickness if known, and project timing. For repairs, add photos and the available failure history. Supplier recommendations should be confirmed against the complete conditions before the final order.

FAQ

Can you recommend a lining if the material is undecided?

Send the known operating conditions and explain what is still uncertain. The proposed compound and lining system must be checked against those conditions.

Is the same rubber suitable for every chemical tank?

No. Chemical composition, concentration, temperature, contact conditions and the exact compound all matter. Obtain a project-specific suitability confirmation.
